Meet our smallest members of the RVE pony crew, Mia and Cheeky. They love getting out and about with our kindy kid riders, and we do have larger ponies too for the older kids!

Lil Trotters will be on this Sunday 2pm. The rain will have passed by then.

Come and join us for a beginners experience designed for children from 2 to 10 years old. This introduction to ponies class runs for one hour. Bookings are essential as we have limited spaces.

$40 per child.

Please send us a message to book in or for any questions. Payment via bank deposit is due at the time of booking to secure the position.

We require a minimum of 24 hours cancelation notice.

Today, we said our final goodbyes to our beautiful old man Kaz (KD KAZADA). At 25 years young, he looked a picture of health, aside from the cancer hidden within. We had been monitoring him closely with regular vet checks for the past year. They say it is best to say goodbye a day too early than a day too late, but goodbyes are never easy.

21 years we have had you my old mate and you were always mum's favourite. She kept a bag of carrots in her car that were 'only for Kaz', and I would get told of for pinching some for the other horses. Fly high, old man 💔 Go and have a good gallop around with Champ and Miguel.

The Lil Trotters catch-up event due to June's postponement is the weekend of 25/26 July.

Sadly, we had to put my old mate Miguel (KD MIGAL) down today at 22 years old. He was the most amazing horse to own and was a true alrounder. He was multi champion ridden and inhand, FEI endurance, Junior NZ CTR champion multiple times, qualified for dressage champs, evented, numerous kids sat their D, D+ and C pony club certificates on him and he was the top babysitter of my youngstock. Not often do you get a horse so safe and versatile as him, I have owned him for 20 years, and that's half my life. He was the most perfect purebred arabian horse with Karamea bloodlines and taught so many kids how to ride. Fly high, my old mate 💔 🐎
