REGISTRATIONS OF INTEREST FOR NON STOP CRICKET TOURNAMENT

The Upper Hutt Primary Schools Sports Association “Non Stop Cricket Tournament” is being held on Tuesday 22nd September (with a PP day on Thursday 24th September), at Maidstone Turf and our school is keen to offer our students the opportunity to play in this Tournament.

Students will walk down and back to the turf.

This event is open to all interested Year 3-6 students for selection into our team entries, however we will be prioritising non-cricket players in team selection if numbers are high.

We can only enter 4 teams of 8 students across the Senior Syndicate (two Y5/6 and two Y3/4). Tournament is an 8-aside non-stop cricket format with 8 players per team.

The games are played at Awakairangi Park From 4pm and are 30 min rotations.

Wednesday 2nd Dec – Last game/prize giving Night.

FUTURE FERNS NETBALL 2026 - TERM 4

Year 1/2 - The aim is to develop fundamental movement and basic Netball skills. The 4 v 4 game format allows players to pass, catch and shoot from day one.
This programme is held outdoors at the Taita Netball Courts by Netball Hutt Valley and played for six weeks on Saturday mornings in Term 1 from 9am starting Saturday 31 October 2026

This is completely dependent on Parental Support. No practices are required at school.

Year 3/4 - 5v5: five players from each team on the court at any one time.
This programme is held outdoors at the Taita Netball Courts by Netball Hutt Valley and played for six weeks on Saturday mornings in Term 1 from 9am starting Saturday 31 October 2026

Fees for this season are $45 per player and payable once a team is confirmed.

Upper Hutt Primary Schools Ripper Rugby 2026

This event is open to all interested Year 3-4 and Year 5-6 students for selection into our team entries. The following teams are available.

Year 3/4 Team: 1 x Social
Year 5/6 Team: 1 x Social, 1 x Competitive
12 players, mixed gender (7 aside games, minimum of 3 girls on the field).

There are no Basketball games this week (Monday 22nd - Friday 26th June) for all Primary and Intermediate grades due to Hutt Fest.

Enjoy your week off and we will see everyone back for finals on Monday 29th June - Friday 3rd July.

Floorball - Term 3/4

REGISTRATIONS CLOSE Friday 12th June!

Season: Term 3 &4 2026
Dates: Monday 27th July (conclude on Monday 23rd November)
Venue: The Professionals Recreation Hall, Whirinaki Whare Taonga
Years: Year 3/4 & Year 5/6 teams
Cost: $60 per player - minimum team of 6

Grades are Year 3/4, Year 5/6 (4-aside - one goalie and three players). The games are played at the Professionals Recreation Hall in Upper Hutt From 4pm, are 2x10 min halves, and gear is provided.

However, we need parental support to help us with this opportunity. We need at least one parent manager or coach per team please, to be responsible for the team, collect shirts and on the day to sub the players on and off. Without this help we are unable to enter teams in the competition. Ideally a Coach for each team would be great.
