After another fantastic win 4-1 over Waikato Diocesan School in the finals this morning. A huge well done to Emma, Bella, Mel, Kendall and Tia, all the training and commitment has paid off. We're all so very proud of how you represented your schools and clubs. Special mention to Tia who has made the NZ junior girls team to play trans Tasman tournament in a few weeks.

🏆 NZ Secondary Schools Champs – Day One Update 💚💛

What a start for our girls in Christchurch. After yesterday’s send‑off, they’ve come out swinging and delivered two awesome results on Day One.

Morning match: A composed 4–1 win over Greymouth/John Paul College, with the team settling in quickly and showing real confidence on court.

Afternoon match: A dominant 5–0 sweep against Marlborough Girls’ 2nd team — clinical, calm, and full of teamwork.

Emma, Bella, Mel, Kendall, and Tia are building great momentum heading into three big rounds tomorrow. The energy is high, the support from home is felt, and they’re representing Katikati College with pride.

Keep pushing, team. We’re right behind you. 💪💛💚
