🏊‍♀️ Calling all Tokoroa locals and history lovers!

We’re looking for your help to uncover the story of Tokoroa’s very first public swimming pool, built back in the 1950s.

Did you know this pool was constructed largely through the hard work and dedication of local volunteers?

Do you have:
📸 Old photographs of the pool being built or in its early years?
📰 Newspaper clippings, programmes or memorabilia?
💙 Stories or memories of helping to build it, swimming there, or family members who were involved?

If you have anything you’d be willing to share, we’d love to hear from you. Your photos and memories could become part of a special historical display celebrating our community’s aquatic heritage.

Please comment below, send us a private message, or get in touch with our team.

Thank you for helping us preserve this wonderful piece of Tokoroa’s history for future generations. 🩵
