Target Shooting South Canterbury

Timaru Boys High School Smallbore Target Shooting Team demonstrated exceptional skills during their recent match against Waitaki Boys' High School. Although the team did not secure a win, they posted some excellent scores, including two members who had only recently taken up 'sling' shooting.
TBHS’s top scorer, Nathan Maclean, earned 98.2 and 95, and L Hay of WBHS scored 99.8 and 100.6 🥳🥳

Our firewood raffle has been drawn, the lucky ticket number was 47.

A special congratulations to TSSC'S Deanna Maclean who has been appointed the 2026 South Island manager for both the Men's and Veterans Teams.

Yesterday we welcomed Ashburton Target Shooting Association for our annual rep match.
Ashburton won the match by 10 points with John top scoring on 197.07
For TSSC Nicole led the way with 197.14 just ahead of Riley on 196.11, and a commendable 195.07 from Nathan (in his first full year of shooting) and beating both Mum and Dad.
Thanks to Ashburton for coming down on such a cold day, it is always good to catch up with you guys.

Congratulations to Deanna MacLean from Target Shooting South Canterbury on her recent shooting endeavours at the Invercargill target shooting association champs over the weekend.
What a way to finish the North v South qualifying rounds, coming 🥇 first in the BCD final & 🥉3rd for the Open.
