Congratulations to our new graduates 🎓

Penny Dewar presented a card on Monday evening to Liz Jackson, wife of our valued member Phil, who died earlier in the year. Liz was accompanied by Pete Robinson, the deputy chairperson of the Raincliff Trust Board. Organised by Penny Dewar, the Timaru Bridge Club in their fundraising venture, was able to donate $500 to the Raincliff Trust Board in memory of Phil.

The Intermediate team of Uneta Denley, Grant Patterson, AnneMarie Pavletich and Pauline Prendergast won their division in the Mid-South Island teams on Sunday. Our junior team members of Tony Preen, Richard Walton, Lynda Brown and Tina Ivamy came in a close second in their division. The Open members were Kay Nicholas, Lesley Andrew, Jenny Johnston and Jill Lister. Overall, Timaru was pipped for the shield by the Ashburton Bridge Club.

Carole Brand and Dave Gaskin bid and made 7S last Monday, becoming the most recent grand slam members. A club lead though!!!! Hindsight is a wonderful thing
