🏐 Gateway Employer Spotlight #5: Future Ferns 🏐
We bounced and landed into a fantastic Gateway opportunity with Future Ferns! This post is a little late, but we are nonetheless so appreciative of this opportunity!

Student: Isabella (Bella) McCulloch

Qualification: Level 2 in Health and Wellbeing

Employer / Organisation: Future Ferns

Manager: Ashlee Sutcliffe

Bella, who is a keen netballer, has been able to put her skills straight into practice this 2026 season! She’s been supporting volunteer Ashlee Sutcliffe in running the Future Ferns programme—a fantastic initiative for Year 3 and 4 students that helps them build confidence, practice fundamental skills, and fall in love with the game of netball.

Bella has been an incredible addition to Thursday night trainings. The kids absolutely flock to her, and she’s constantly surrounded by energetic 7 and 8-year-olds who are eager to learn from her! 🌟

A massive thank you to Ashlee and Future Ferns for providing such a supportive environment for our students to grow and share their passion! 🙌
