OK OK so it's not the Claret Jug and Foxy again missed selection for our Thames Team BUT we battled to a resounding victory in todays round of the prestigious PREBBLE CUP at Hauraki Golf Club with a 6-6 (then decided bycountback) victory over Ngaruawahia.
Next round 13 Sept vers either Matamata or Te Aroha for a place in the semifinals.
Well done and thanks for turning out for your Club guys.

And the winners of the prestigious Richardson BestBall, one of our clubs most sought after cups was this pair of smilers - Kyle( I carried him) Rohrlach and Happy Gilmour Jivko Mladovic -well done guys! Trophy hunters again took advice from their neighbour to take the Cowboys Plate - Darryle Scott the do******ix with ‘what’s his name’ aka Fraser Manson won again over Copper Corbett n young FIFo Kevin Hughes

The late great Kerry Bowron was very excited when I called him today on his heaven number to discuss the outcome of the Kerry Bowron Trophy (4BBB) - in a close contest Darryle Scott carried her partner Fraser Manson to victory over the aged stalwart Gordon Lindsay and his young partner Bill White.
Countbacks etc were discussed to separate the 42 points but Kerry decided “nah, her first ever trophy win under my name is what golf is all about so SHE wins” so WELL DONE Little Daz … oh and thanks Fraser!
