Sunny days are here once again...
River levels and flow rates are dropping too - not quite to the same levels and clarity we were seeing in early/mid March, but it's certainly looking promising.
Let's see who might be interested in joining us over the next couple of weekends?
I will have to check out what sort of debris may have come down in the past few weeks, so it would be this Sunday at the earliest - if so desired.
As always, bookings required! Get in touch via messenger or pop me a text if you're keen to get out and make the most of the weather.

Well, it looks like that might be us for the season. 😞
Following a run of weekends without bookings last month, when the river was at its best, we are now into the rainy season, and the river is elevated.
This is unfortunate timing, with both the Christmas and Easter School Holidays marred by heavy rains.
Unfortunately, we will be closed for the foreseeable future. Keep an eye out for us should the weather improve in a late autumn window.
Stay safe out there.

Adventure Te Aroha is open for kayak bookings this Sunday 22 March, as well as Saturday 28 March, Sunday 29 March.
Weather is looking really good for this Sunday, and we still have plenty of space for bookings.
Closed: This Saturday, 21 March, and Easter (Friday 03 April - Monday 06 April).
After this, we will review weekly based on the weather. River flows are optimal currently, and autumn colours are just starting to show through. All going well, we will continue into early May, but this is very weather-dependent.
It's been pretty quiet this year, but I hope to see some more of you back on the river as we move through the autumn.

What a stunning week it has been so far! The Waihou River is finally beginning to drop toward a summer base flow, and things are clearing up nicely.
We are almost fully-booked for this Saturday morning, but still have space for the Saturday afternoon trip.
Get in, while the weather is good! 😄🛶

What a huge day on the river!
The entire fleet of 12 kayaks hit-the-water this morning for the Hamilton Junior Naturalist Club (Junats)
https://www.facebook.com/junats.nz
Followed by a leisurely paddle with some Mangateparu locals this afternoon.
A stunning day - plus we’re seeing improved water clarity too, as the water levels drop towards normal summer flows.
