Sorry for the late notice. Wara got some bad news yesterday and is now in palliative care. His wish is clear: to have one last big party. Last Drinks with Wara is our chance to be with him, to honour him, and to let him thank us for being part of his journey.

When he passes, it’s likely to be a smaller more private affair, so if you’d like to celebrate his life with him, please come to this instead.
We ask that you please dont park on the road side on state highway, there is plenty of parking available on field and tennis court and will have people in place to direct you.
Dress up warm in case you’re outside. Number 1s please Hinuera fellas

Wara and his family would love to hear your stories. There’ll be a Memory Box for you to pop in favourite memories, messages, or moments you’d like him to keep. If you can’t make it but would like to share a memory or would like to speak at the celebration, please email Shirley on [email protected] by 4pm on Wednesday.

The Te Aroha Mountain Men regret to announce their withdrawal from the upcoming season due to difficulties in fielding a complete team. This decision has been necessitated by the persistent need to borrow players from other teams throughout the season.
We intend to register a team for the Whangamata Tournament at the end of the season and will seek expressions of interest at that time.
