Everyone is welcome, and new members are especially welcome. Whether you’ve been involved with the club for years or are keen to get involved for the first time, we’d love to see you there.

This Saturday 22nd August 11am we are holding the Small Kicks Prize Giving.

If we are playing in the morning this will be held after practice at the school to save mud being trekked through the Cafe.

If it is raining and practice is cancelled, we will hold prize giving at Kea Cafe at 11am.

Here's hoping to finish our season with some great football at the school!

As we come to the end of the season, it’s time to say a huge thank you to our wonderful coaches for all the time, effort and dedication they’ve put in throughout the winter!

Small kicks football at Te Anau School today is cancelled.
To respect the school's fields and with this weather, we are canceling todays games.

Due to the heavy rainfall yesterday and today, the grounds at Te Anau School are waterlogged and are too wet for Small Kicks football tomorrow morning, we have had to cancel it.

Fiordland Thunder travelled to Gore Wanderers AFC to play the 12th Grade Wanderers. There was enough snow on the pitch to make snowballs which made for a distracted “warmup”.
Gore adjusted best to the conditions & took the win. Gus was POD for saving a penalty in first half & making a big difference in midfield second half.
The generous aftermatch spread of pizza & cakes meant everyone went home in good spirits.

Storm played a great match against Old Boys' AFC Strikers on Saturday. Storm went into halftime with a 2–0 lead after dominating possession. Maddox scored two outstanding goals to give the team a well-deserved advantage.

In the second half, Strikers fought back with a great breakaway goal to close the gap to one. Daniel then scored his first goal of the season to put Storm back up by two before Strikers struck again to make it a one-goal game.

Liam was outstanding in goal, making several excellent saves to keep Storm in front. Charlie B was named Player of the Day for his impressive attacking play, combined with his strong defensive work.

It certainly looks like the recent World Cup has inspired everyone, with some fantastic skills on display from all our players. Next up, Storm takes on Old Boys Wildcats on our home turf for another exciting battle!

Small Kicks at the Te Anau School is cancelled for tomorrow.
Our competition teams are still playing at this stage. We will update on any changes later in the day.

Update from the senior team:

After a tough match against Gore, Te anau managed to take the win (2-1) after an incredible header from James in the last 5 minutes.

Te anau FC have managed to walk away with the Fast bastard pies Div2 title for the second year in a row!
