🏊‍♀️🇦🇺 Paige – SA Short Course Champs Wrap-Up 🇦🇺🏊‍♀️

What an amazing few days in Adelaide for Paige!

She came away with multiple PBs, 7 NAGS qualifying times, strong placings across several events and finished the meet with a BRONZE medal in the 1500m Free 🥉🔥

A huge amount was learnt about racing, recovery, backing up between events and competing against some very strong Australian swimmers.

So proud of the way Paige raced, handled the tough swims and kept pushing right to the end.

A pretty special experience and a great reminder to all our Turtle swimmers that hard work, consistency and determination really do pay off. 💙🏊‍♀️

Is your child just starting out, or are they already a confident swimmer who needs more focus on stroke correction, dives and turns?

🌱 HATCHLINGS – Wednesday 3.00pm
Perfect for children who are new to swimming lessons, are a little anxious around the water, or need to build confidence and learn to feel comfortable and safe in and around the pool.

🦈 SHARKS – Spaces available:
Monday 5.40pm
Friday 4.50pm

Sharks is for more advanced swimmers who are ready to work on stroke technique and correction, dives, turns and developing stronger swimming skills.

Whether your child is right at the beginning or further along their swimming journey, I may have the perfect Term 4 spot for them!

🐢 Turtle Swim School Term 4 Update 🌊

Welcome back to swimming!

As the weather warms up, it is a great time to get children back into the pool and building confidence, skills and water safety.

🌞 Term 4

Term 4 confirmations and invoices will be emailed a few weeks before lessons begin.

Payment is due by 13 September 2026.

Many after-school classes have waiting lists, so payment will need to be received by this date to secure your child’s space. If you have changed your mind and no longer want Term 4 lessons, please let me know as soon as possible so I can offer the space to another family.

🔄 Term 1 Roll-Over

Children enrolled in Term 4 will automatically roll over into Term 1, 2027.

Please let me know if you do not want your child to continue in Term 1.

🐢 Morning Spaces Available

I currently have spaces available on:

Tuesday mornings
Wednesday mornings
Thursday mornings

These classes are suitable for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, with homeschooler classes available on Wednesday mornings.

Please get in touch if you have a younger child you would like to enrol.

🏊 Fins for Orcas, Sharks and Squads

Children in Orcas, Sharks and Squads are encouraged to have their own fins where possible.

I do have some fins available to borrow, but having their own pair would be very helpful.

Fins will be used in:

Week 4 and Week 8

I will remind the children the week before they are needed.

I am hoping to run extra sessions in the 50-metre Mount College pool before the 2027 school swimming sports.

These sessions will focus on:

🌊 Distance swimming
🏁 Diving
🔄 Turns
💪 Confidence swimming lengths

🌴 September/October Holiday Lessons

Week 1: 28 September–2 October 2026
Week 2: 5–9 October 2026

These lessons are a great way to restart swimming after winter.

21–24 December 2026

Week 1: 4–5 and 8–9 January
Week 2: 11–15 January
Week 3: 18–22 January

The next four days the secondary school kids compete up in Auckland.
My daughter Paige is swimming for Mount Maunganui College. She started off this afternoon doing 400 Free.
If you scroll through to about 1.37 it is the start of the Women's 400 Free.
The school has a few relay teams compete later in the evening. x4/50 Medley Relays and x4/100 Free Relays which Paige also competes in.
So exciting to be watching my child on a big screen!
Such a proud mum!
