Super proud of our 2yr old boy TARDIS yesterday at Ellerslie in the THE LAWN SHED WINTER SERIES FINAL getting 3rd in a close finish. Margins a head and a head.
TARDIS never gave up in
A tough fight to the finish line showing his toughness in a never say die attitude which we all love to see in our horses.
We are so very proud of the way he handled himself in the parade ring, calm and collected, has come a long way. We think he will mature into a lovely 3yr old.
TARDIS will go to the paddock now for a weeks break to freshen up, then if all is gd with him, Dan will look at pressing onto the CASTLE TOWN STAKES on the 10th of July.

Now as a two yr old

This was TARDIS (Badger) at 16 days old .

WOW that really was just what the doctor ordered. Our boy TARDIS (Badger) winning race 4 at Te Aroha yesterday.
Our own homebed born and raised on our property in the BOP, and the very first to wear and race with our own brand . A really special moment esp when its also trained by our son.
Tardis has kept on improving after his excellent 3rd place 3wks ago at Matamata where he was still very green.
The team at matamata have done an excellent job with him.
Ernie Rika who broke him in and has been doing a lot of his track work riding along with daniel.
Badger as he is known is a cool laid back dude, but hasnt bn the easiest when its come to riding him on the track. Badger loves to get going and can pull like a bu**er at times. Were so grateful for the excellent team Daniel has around him who help keep our horses fit , sound and happy.

Ken stablehand and most recently Equilize Equine Bodywork (Johana) for working her magic on his body.
John visited him yesterday avo where he was waiting patiently in his paddock for ken to feed him.
So thats a very gd sign hes a happy horse.
Not sure whats install for him next, we will leave that up to Daniel.
