It’s FINALS day at AIMS today for the football teams. The Girls have been undefeated all week, and after a narrow loss this morning will be playing for 3rd this afternoon.

The boys are playing for 19th after some tough physical play and unlucky goals.

Part-Time Summer 5-A-Side Football Coordinator

Love football? Enjoy being outdoors? Looking for a part-time role in a great community environment?

Ōtūmoetai Football Club is looking for a reliable and confident Football Coordinator to help us set up and run our Thursday night Summer 5-A-Side Football Programme across Term 4, 2026 and Term 1, 2027.

💚 THE ROLE
This is a paid part-time position of approximately 6 hours per week.
You’ll be an important part of making sure our Summer 5 A-Side nights run smoothly, safely and on time.

⚽ WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
🕑 Arrive at 2:00pm to set up fields, goals and field numbers
⚽ Oversee sessions running at 4:15pm, 5:00pm, 6:00pm & 6:45pm
🏃 Move and position mini football goals and field numbers
🚜 Safely operate the club’s quad bike
🧹 Help supervise the pack-down at the end of the evening
👟 Help ensure all sessions run smoothly and safely

🙌 WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
✔️ Has a sound knowledge of football
✔️ Is confident working independently and managing multiple sessions
✔️ Is physically capable of moving the mini goals
✔️ Is comfortable operating a quad bike
✔️ Is reliable, organised and confident working with players
