Welcome to Tauranga Archers. Annual membership fees apply. We welcome ages 11+. This class is for all ages from 11+. The class runs for 2 hours.

The official club day is on Sundays from 1:00pm to 4pm in winter and 10am to 1pm in summer. Bow types:
Recurve
Compound
Bare Bow
Long Bow
If you have your own equipment your bow must be no more than 60 pounds. Crossbows are not accepted unless they are custom made for target archery and approved by our committee members. If you would like to join the club or you just want

Several Tauranga Archers competed in the NZ Indoor National Championships 🎯 last weekend with many coming away with medals 🥇
Well done to everyone who made the effort to get down to Palmerston North and shoot at the event 👏 We hope you had a fabulous time.

Fourteen Tauranga Archers competed in the annual Gizzy Vegas 🎯 last weekend in Gisborne including three junior members who did fabulously well. Ten competed in the Recurve and four in the Compound section. Everyone had a great time and did well.
Special congratulations to Shaun Ryan for winning the Recurve competition 🥇, and Pedro de Oliveira who just missed out on the bronze.
A huge thank you to Gisborne Archery Club 🏹 for hosting another year and we will be back next year - Jack Perry certainly will be with his spot prize 💰 of 2027 entry fee covered 😎

We are off to an epic start to the 2026 indoor archery season. We had a whopping 16 member-turnout this evening 🎯 including 6 junior archers 🙌

Tauranga Archers hosted the inaugural Bay of Plenty Schools Archery Tournament 🎯 on 2 May 2026. Seventeen young archers competed in the event 🏆. It was lovely watching them make new friends and just have a good time. They all did fabulously well 👏

Our first photos from day 1 of the North Island Youth Championships hosted by Tauranga Archery. Well done to every single youth archer who participated this weekend. Everyone will agree that Tauranga delivered some pretty awesome weather.
