*CLUB UPDATE*

A changing of the guard at Taupo Dog Trial Club.

After an incredible **17 years as President**, Paddy has stepped down, while Lyall has called time on an amazing **20 odd years as Club Secretary**.
Between them, they have dedicated countless hours behind the scenes, ensuring the club has continued to thrive. Their commitment, leadership, and willingness to give so much of their time have left an incredible legacy that the club is truly grateful for.

As one chapter closes, another begins. We're excited to welcome **Wayne Bloxham** as our new Club President, **Liana Ashford Jones** as Club Secretary, and **Everest Fitch** as Club Treasurer. We know they'll bring fresh ideas, new enthusiasm, and plenty of energy as they lead the club into its next chapter.

Every successful club relies on volunteers who are willing to step up, and we're fortunate to have people prepared to take on these important roles. We wish Wayne, Liana, and Everest every success and look forward to supporting them as they guide Taupo Dog Trial Club into the future.

A heartfelt thank you to Paddy and Lyall for your years of outstanding service. Your dedication has made a lasting difference, and it certainly won't be forgotten. 👏🐑🐕

Please bear with us as we transition things across. This will hopefully be complete in a couple of weeks, once Liana has picked up all the Club property from Lyall, & bank accounts, page & email account are transferred.

Please note that, due to the incoming bad weather, Cambridge-Parawera trial has been postponed until Sunday 19th & Monday 20th April 2026.

It is with deep sadness we advise you all of the passing of Life Member & past President of Taupo Dog Trial Club, Neville Higgins.

Neville's funeral is being held on Saturday 31st January, 10.30am, at the Founders Chapel, 117 Rickit Street, Taupo.

It is with great sadness we inform you all of the passing of Taupo Dog Trial Club life member, & long time Club secretary, June Roberts.
Our thoughts are very much with Peter & family at this very sad time. 😢

Loved sister of Shirley, Maureen, Neil, Dawn, Janet(deceased)
Nelda passed away peacefully with family close by.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at: The Founders Chapel of Remembrance 117 Rickit Street, Taupo
Friday, 18th July at 1:30pm
All who knew and loved Nelda are warmly invited to attend.
