Taupo Disc Golf

We're very excited to announce our 3rd ever Rising Stars Open presented by BFA Business Advisors and Accountants. This juniors-only, 1-day, 2-round tournament will give kids a chance to try a PDGA sanctioned competitive disc golf tournament for the first time. Only $15 to enter and they'll get a disc included!!!

With a huge boost from NZ Disc Golf, we're joining a whole slew of other clubs around the country to get more kids into disc golf during the school holiday window.

If all goes to plan, we are aiming to open registration through Disc Golf Scene on August 31st. The link is in the comments. We will post again when registration opens, so please stand by!

We’ll be there with discs for loan and club members keen to show you around. Unless it's bucketing down! Then we'll be home on the couch with the slippers on.

🥳 It's a huge relief to report that we have been APPROVED for a licence agreement to keep the Spa Park Disc Golf Course in the ground through to 2034.

There were over 800 positive submissions sent into Taupō District Council, and that is an astounding figure. Thank you so much for your help to make this happen. In return, we promise to look after this course for many years to come.

We're already looking forward to our next round knowing the future is very bright at Spa Park!

The Taupō Winter Festival kicks off today and we're excited to take part once again.

Tomorrow (Saturday 4 July) we'll be on the domain next to the ice rink with our hole-in-one challenge from 10-2.

It's completely free and a great chance for first-timers to throw some plastic and maybe even hit an ace!

We've got discs to give away for the talented few that can sink one. You keen to give it a shot?!

Last week, we were proud to help out at the annual Greening Taupō Day Festival. 4000+ trees planted by 2000+ students. Pretty amazing occasion. We provide a bit of entertainment with a pop-up disc golf putting course for the kids to try out. It’s a fantastic day out for the Taupō community and we’re just excited to be a part of it. Thanks Greening Taupo and Kids Greening Taupo!
