From the 9th - 14th of September Great Britain will participate in the 7th World Championship of Working Equitation with a full team of four riders! The competition will take place at the Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Ecuestre in Jerez de la Frontera in Spain.

The 2026-2027 Membership form is up and live now. Let us know if you want last year's info rolled over and we can do this in the system once payment is received. Thank you to those who have already paid, you have been rolled over to the new season.

Taranaki Working Equitation Incorporated - 2026/27

The Annual Harmony In Training Award This award will be presented annually to the horse & rider partnership that exemplifies the principals of good equitation, consistent training, mutual trust,softness,balance,flexibility & progressive development. It will honour those who prioritize the long term education & well being of the horse while striving for excellence at their current level. Eligibility Open to all current TWE members .( if more than one mount is ridden each mount & rider will be eligible) It will be judged over a full season & not a single performance. .Judges choice at Annual WE show Judges choice at each EHO competition 3 in total A poll will be put up & each TWE member will be able to vote for one combination with the exception of themselves Criteria Improvement & Horsemanship should be valued equally with achievement. The combination should demonstrate ethical training practices & respec t all horse welfare issues( physical, mental & emotional) . Riders should demonstrate positive sportsmanship at all times.

What a fantastic weekend at Taranaki Working Equitation 3rd Annual Show! Massive thanks to all the judges, officials and helpers.

We’re so proud to share our overall results and celebrate the achievements of all our riders from those stepping into the arena for the first time through to more experienced combinations. It was wonderful to see such great horsemanship, partnership, and sportsmanship on display across the board.
