Flynn has made incredible progress in the pool, showing improved confidence, technique, and a great attitude towards learning. We are so proud of how far he has come and can't wait to see what he achieves next! 🏊‍♂️👏💙

Rotorua Aquatic Centre is proud to be a donation drop-off point for Waiariki Women’s Refuge.

We’re collecting non-perishable food items to help support women and families in our community. Donations of the following are greatly appreciated:

Every donation, big or small, can make a real difference. Your generosity helps provide meals, comfort, and support to those who need it most.

🏊‍♂️ Para Swimming Clinic Coming to Rotorua! 🏊‍♀️

We're excited to hold the first Para Swimming Clinic at the Rotorua Aquatic Centre on Sunday 13th September.

This fantastic opportunity is designed to support and develop para swimmers, with guidance from an experienced coaching team including Mia Parker, Mark Turner, Henk Greupink, Annabelle Davey, and Adriaan Greupink.

🌸💦 WHAT A SPRING POOL PARTY! 💦🌸

Sunday was full of fun, laughter, and plenty of splashing!
We had an amazing turnout and loved seeing everyone enjoying the water inflatables, Tarzan Swing, mini trampoline, and scavenger hunt! 🥳

🌱🌼 But the BIG highlight? Our planting activity! 🪴✨

The kids got to design their very own paper cup, then choose a flower or vegetable to plant and take home with them! 🌻🥕
It was so awesome seeing their creativity come to life — and now they have a little plant to look after and watch grow! 💚

We captured some awesome moments from the day — and those smiles say it all! 📸😍
But the fun doesn't stop there… 👀

We're incredibly proud of our very own Mel, who helped the CLM team secure 3rd place at the National Pool Lifeguard Competition during the Annual Waves Conference! 👏

Mel was also recognised as one of the Top 5 nominees nationally for Pool Lifeguard of the Year, an outstanding achievement and a testament to her dedication and professionalism.

Congratulations to all competitors and award nominees. We couldn't be prouder of the way Mel represented our facility and CLM! 💙🌊

🌼 Welcome Spring with Us This Sunday 30th August! 🌼

Join us for our Spring Pool Party and enjoy a day packed with family fun.

💲 Just $6 per person!

Children will have the chance to decorate their own pot and plant a seed to take home and watch grow into beautiful flowers or tasty veggies. 🌱

✅ Tarzan Swing
✅ Scavenger Hunt
✅ Games and Prizes
✅ Plenty of pool party fun

⚠️ Numbers for the pot decorating and planting activity are limited, so get in quick to avoid missing out!

🌊🤽‍♂️ Water Polo Tournament This Weekend! 🤽‍♀️🌊

We're excited to be hosting a Water Polo Tournament from Friday 14 August to Sunday 16 August!

📅 Tournament Hours
🔹 Friday: 7:00am - 9:00pm
🔹 Saturday: 7:00am - 9:00pm
🔹 Sunday: 7:00am - 4:00pm

⚠️ Please note that the deep pool will be closed to the public during these times.

✅ The 50m pool will remain open and available for:
🏊 Lap swimming
💦 Aqua jogging
☀️ Public recreation

🚫 There will be no Friday morning Aqua Class due to the tournament.
