A huge Thank You to Rotary Rotorua Sunrise and the Charity House funding grant earlier this year that allowed us to buy new bow lights for our crews. These lights are vital to help keep our rowers visible and safe during early morning training sessions in the lake. The new lights (from Sally Knight, Swift Racing) have a variety of light patterns to it's easy to group singles, doubles and bigger boats into identifiable groups for fast head counts. The lights are waterproof, bounce proof and don't blind the coxswains (always a bonus!). Without the support of community groups like Rotary and the Charity House funding the club would struggle to keep rowers safe and would need to limit numbers on the water in the mornings. Awesome work, Rotary! Thank you so very much.

A BIG thank you to Charity House Project!
We’re incredibly grateful for your generous support. Our growing club has received new safety belts, which will make a real difference in helping keep our rowers and volunteers safe on the water.
Your support helps us continue providing a safe environment for our rowing community and means a lot to everyone at Rotorua Rowing Club.
Thank you, Charity House Project, for backing our club and helping us keep safety a priority! 💙
