For us, this fundraiser is about more than just prizes. It’s about creating a club where every child who is eligible has the opportunity to attend a swim meet or swim camp, regardless of their financial situation.

2026 SCWC Short Course Champs kicked off last night and what a way to get into it 🔥🔥 highlighted by Phenyx (1500) and Coach Dylan (50 Free) both taking bronze 🥉🥉 and posting their first 2026 NZSC qualifying times 💪🏽

It was a fast session with over 70% of swims done in a PB time 🧡💙

It’s hard to put into words what this journey has meant. Being part of the Selwyn Swim Club committee has been so much more than meetings and behind the scenes work for the Spring Classic and Club it’s been about being part of a community that feels like family.

I’ve had the privilege of watching swimmers grow in confidence, celebrating achievements big and small, and working alongside incredible volunteers, coaches, officials, and families who give so much to our club.

I’m so grateful for the friendships, the memories, the laughs, and even the challenges that have shaped the past decade. Thank you to everyone who has shared this journey with me. It’s been an honour to play a small part in helping our club thrive.
