🧡💙Wow Ten years 💙🧡

It’s hard to put into words what this journey has meant. Being part of the Selwyn Swim Club committee has been so much more than meetings and behind the scenes work for the Spring Classic and Club it’s been about being part of a community that feels like family.

I’ve had the privilege of watching swimmers grow in confidence, celebrating achievements big and small, and working alongside incredible volunteers, coaches, officials, and families who give so much to our club.

I’m so grateful for the friendships, the memories, the laughs, and even the challenges that have shaped the past decade. Thank you to everyone who has shared this journey with me. It’s been an honour to play a small part in helping our club thrive.

Here’s to 10 wonderful years, and to the amazing people who make our club so special. 💙🧡

Submerge Aquatics is committed to creating lifelong engagement in sport through inclusive, supportive, and purposefully designed aquatic programmes. They offer pathways that promote regular physical activity, personal growth, and community connection. They run weekly swim squads, technique classes, and adult fitness groups that emphasise fun, health and wellbeing, and self-improvement. Their popular Carnival Nights are open to both members and non-members and focus on participation, trying new events, and celebrating individual progress—making aquatic sport accessible and enjoyable for both first-time swimmers and experienced athletes. They are committed to providing a programme for a wide range of the district, including current participants joining them from Darfield, Kirwee, West Melton, Leeston, Lincoln, Prebbleton, Springston, Dunsandel and Rolleston among other smaller townships.
