🚴♀️💙 WHAT AN INCREDIBLE EFFORT! 💛🚴♂️
What a way to finish The Big Spin 2026! The fundraising effort from every single team has been absolutely phenomenal.
🏆 Our Top Fundraising Teams as at 2pm – 9/8/26
And WOW… that battle for the top spot got HEATED! 🔥
The MAAD Fit Team and Six Appeal were going dollar for dollar right to the very end… until 1:57pm, just THREE minutes before the finish, when Dan Sincock from TDE Drainage threw his support behind his wife and The MAAD Fit Team with an incredible $2,090 donation! 😱💙
But this was always about so much more than a leaderboard. Every donation, every share, every person who jumped on a bike and every business who got behind us has helped support the North Canterbury Cancer Society and the incredible work they do in our community.
A MASSIVE thank you to NC Sports, all of our amazing sponsors, every single rider, our instructors, supporters, donors, volunteers and the committee who worked so hard behind the scenes to make this crazy idea happen.
You guys made The Big Spin absolutely EPIC.
Our final fundraising total will be shared once the last few silent auctions come through.
