One of greatest hunting experiences for me to date.. watching Lockie very calmly go through his processes he’s been practicing so hard back at home on the rifle before dropping the hammer on this extra wide Axis buck.. we were limited to hunting opportunities we could get out on this trip and the one of the best things Lockie said to me was walking off the hill after night one with no success was “Don’t worry Dad I’ve got plenty of years to come back and hunt Axis with the uncles”…

If this Stag isn’t the icing on Abe’s graduation trip I don’t know what would.. after many an encounter this week with the bow the king has fallen..
