Warm greetings for the Māori New Year!

Truly a beautiful morning up the Greengates summit on Wednesday for a clear view of Matariki. Massive thank you to our legends .nz for providing the treats on the summit. Along with Te Kōhanga Reo o Whakatipu Waimāori whanau, and Professor Bryan Boyle for showing our group of over 100 where the stars lay, and what they mean for our past, present, and future. ✨

Lifts update from Nigel ⛷️❄️

That’s right ALL LIFTS are running at the moment Greengates, Rocky Gully, Coronet Express, Meadows Express, and all the carpets are fully running all day for you to enjoy 😉☀️

Day for it! 🌄

Inversion layers, with Greengates, and Rocky Gully opening up left us full of stoke. Yesterday was untapped, today is even clearer, bluebird all the way, come catch the stoke. ⛷️❄️

Who appreciates extra top ups? ❄️☃️

Through out last night, and during most of today we received around another 5-8 centimetres of snow on the mountain. A bit of a surprise, along with a happy welcome.

Whilst we had no Night Ski tonight, our following ones for Friday, and Saturday are shaping up to stunners. Will we see you there? 🌄🌙

The storm has rolled through, and dropped the goods ❄️👀

We’ve had another 15 centimetres make its way onto the mountain over the past few days. This now makes skiing off piste technically achievable for the brave, and also provides the main runs with a good bit more coverage too. 🏂

Come up, and rip it up 👊🎿

How good have First Tracks been this week? ⛷️

We’d say pretty dang primo!
The mornings have been absolutely glowing 🌄
And if we put our eyes forward to the next few days we currently have rain that’s going to turn into a promising amount of snow once the temps drop tonight 👀

Looks like we could be having more primo blue bird days like above pretty soon ☀️

Bring on snow dump no.2! ❄️❄️❄️

Night ski? How good! 🌄

Our first night ski was last night. If asked we would say it was primo. Calm winds & early season stoke made it all plenty enjoyable for anyone on the slopes.

Will we catch you tomorrow night for round no.2? ⛷️

As the full moon lit up Coronet Peak this morning, it can only mean one thing… 🌚🌝

Night Ski is BACK from tomorrow! ✨

From 4–9pm on Wednesday & Friday, the mountain switches on - lifts turning, lights glowing, laps under the stars.

DJ’s on the deck from 5pm, brazier warmth, mulled wine or a local brew, plus pizzas and burgers between runs.

Winter after dark hits different. 🤝🏻❄️

The real news you have all been waiting for…

The Coronet Express II opens tomorrow! Our Snowmakers have worked their magic to allow us to now open up the upper mountain for skiing, this means longer runs, and better views ❄️🏔️

As for First Chair? You’ll want to be in that queue very VERY early if you want to be one of the lucky six to get your hands on a First On Chair shirt, and a BUFF® custom NZSki buff, perfect for those cold early mornings 😉⛷️

Finally for the off piste, as we’ve only just received our first real dump of snow the off piste is really a figment of your imagination, if you are creative enough we can’t wait to see your lines from the chair. 👀🤙
