Playing in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League (NZIHL) since 2005, the Skycity Stampede have won a total of 6 Championships. After 8 seasons behind the bench, Cameron Frear is stepping down as Head Coach of the Skycity Stampede.
There’s a lot that goes into coaching a team that people don’t see, the hours, the decisions, the pressure and the work that happens long before game night. Cam has given a huge amount of all of that to this team.
More than just a coach, he’s been a big part of the Stampede family and has played a huge role in shaping this group.
Thank you, Cam, for your time, your commitment and everything you’ve given to the Stampede.
