Today we stood quietly in the dark at the dawn service in Queenstown, alongside our community, reflecting on the meaning of ANZAC Day.
At 6:30am, as the first light crept over the mountains, we honoured the courage and sacrifice of those who served, remembering the soldiers of the Gallipoli landing who faced the unknown at dawn on April 25, 1915. There’s something powerful about starting the day this way—still, respectful, and united—carrying forward the spirit of resilience and mateship that defines both our history and how we show up for each other today.
From all of us at Canyoning New Zealand, we remember. 🌺

We feel incredibly lucky to have crossed paths with the amazing Kaylah this season 🎨✨ A true free spirit, Kaylah travels the world sharing her talent through painting, design, and tattooing — and she’s left her mark on Canyoning New Zealand in the coolest way possible. From designing our epic new t-shirt inspired by Mt Aspiring to painting a stunning mural at our base (and even tattooing a few of the team 👀), her creativity, energy, and passion have been something really special to be around.
Massive thanks to Dominic Godwin for introducing us — and to Kaylah for sharing her talent with us. We’re already looking forward to having her back again soon.
We love you Kaylah!! 🥑 🐎❤️
