On Friday night Reuben Martin fought on Art Of War against a formidable opponent Charlie Birch from Resolve Fight Systems. It was a great battle which saw Reuben come away with a unanimous win! Reuben Martin put on a clinical performance at his debut King In The Ring Superfight on Saturday night, coming away with a well deserved win! Thank you to his opponent Pearson Kirkwood from Strikeforce Gym. Pearson you were a strong opponent and brought the fight to Reuben from the first bell - thank you. Reuben we see how hard you work to achieve your goals and strive to lift up others to achieve theirs too. Thank you for representing Matariki Kickboxing Pukekohe with pride. We are all proud of you and excited to see what the future brings.

I started training Ashton at the age of 15, he was still at college.
Since starting Training with me Ashton has won in total 8 titles, 6 as an amateur and 2 as a professional.
Ashtons goal has always been to compete on the biggest stage in NZ, King In The Ring.
Now through years of hard work we are here. I have spent days and nights for over 5 years trying to get Ashton to the place he has dreamed of being.
Every coach I know has done the same thing for their fighters. We are not special, we are workers from working class families doing what must be done.
Matariki Kickboxing Pukekohe and all its fighters, non fighters, families and followers are right behind Ashtons journey.
