📆 Updated 2026/2027 Season Calendar 📆

We've got some fantastic headline events on the schedule this season, but what's even more exciting is that all five of our open wheel classes will be racing at most events throughout the season.

🏆 A great night celebrating our sport at the SNZ Awards on Saturday evening!

Congratulations to Alec Insley, who was named Midget Competitor of the Year. While Alec was unable to attend, the award was proudly accepted on his behalf by his car owner and family.

Peter Hunnibell also received his New Zealand Championship Plaque, recognizing his success on the track.

Congratulations to all the nominees and award recipients for their dedication, hard work, and success throughout the season.

🏁 2025/26 F2 Midget Track Champion – James Earl 🏁

Congratulations to James Earl on claiming the 2025/26 Auckland Speedway F2 Midget Track Championship! 🏆👏

While the F2 Midgets didn't feature heavily on the calendar this season, whenever they rolled through the gates they brought strong numbers and plenty of competitive racing. The class continued to showcase both emerging talent and experienced competitors, making every appearance an exciting one.

We're looking forward to seeing the F2 Midgets feature on the programme more regularly throughout the 2026/27 season and can't wait to see what the class delivers next.

🏁 2025/26 Quarter Midget Track Champion – Jaymee Allsopp-smith 🏁

Congratulations to Jaymee on being crowned the 2025/26 Auckland Speedway Quarter Midget Track Champion! 🏆👏

The Quarter Midget class once again put on a fantastic showcase of young, up-and-coming talent throughout the season. Week after week, these young drivers impressed with their determination, skill, and sportsmanship, proving the future of speedway is in great hands.

This season also marks an exciting milestone for a number of competitors who will be progressing out of the class and taking the next step in their speedway journey. We wish them all the best as they move on to new challenges.

🏁 2025/26 Sprintcar Track Champion – Christian Hermansen 🏁

Congratulations to Christian Hermansen on claiming the 2025/26 Auckland Speedway Sprintcar Track Championship! 🏆👏

Sprintcars featured on a reduced schedule this season due to event clashes and rainouts but as the saying goes – you have to be there to pick up the points.

Congratulations to Christian and all the Sprintcar competitors on their efforts this season. We're already looking forward to seeing what the 2026/27 season will bring for Sprintcar racing at Auckland Speedway.

Congratulations to Michael Pickens on being crowned the 2025/26 Auckland Speedway Midget Track Champion! 🏆👏

Despite not having a full Midget season on the calendar, the class still put on a spectacular show whenever they hit the track.

It certainly leaves us wondering how the Track Championship battle may have unfolded over a full season, with plenty of talented drivers capable of challenging at the front. One thing is for sure – every Midget appearance was must-watch racing.

Congratulations to Regan Tyler on claiming the 2025/26 Auckland Speedway TQ Midget Track Championship! 🏆👏

The TQ Midget class delivered some incredible racing throughout the season, with close competition and exciting battles every time they hit the track.

It was also great to see the strength and depth of the class, with a strong number of drivers picking up points towards the Track Championship.
