Time trials are an important part of our swim programme. ๐ฆ Why do kids spend time UNDER the water in swim lessons? ๐ฆ
It can be super frustrating for parents to watch (and swim teachers - let's be honest๐คช) but itโs one of the most important parts of learning to swim! Time spent exploring under water:
โ๏ธ Builds water confidence (no fear if they go under)
โ๏ธ Teaches breath control
โ๏ธ Develops balance and Buoyancy
โ๏ธ Teaches a child how to recover if they fall in unexpectedly
โ๏ธ Helps them learn to find the surface without panic
These moments are important for helping children stay calm and capable in the water.
๐ Because swimming isnโt just about strokesโฆ itโs about confidence and safety.
Ready to help your child feel strong and safe in the water?
๐ Enrol now and watch their confidence grow!
