Great result in Blenheim for the NZ stockcar Grand Prix.

NZ GP qualifying night

Race 1 grid 12 ➡️ P2
Race 2 grid 5 ➡️ P3
Race 3 grid 5 ➡️ p3

This put us 3rd on points and into the finals for tonight, looking forward to getting out there in a big field of cars and hopefully going well.

Good to go here at Eastern states speedway for the 2026 NZ stockcar GP

Ladies and Gentlemen, your Wanganui Vulcans to contest the 2026 NZ Stockcar Teams Championship!

With the continual growth in calibre of the Stockcar class at Oceanview Speedway, it is always a hard task to choose just six drivers, however, we know these boys will give their all and we look forward to seeing what they each bring to the table come the 6th & 7th of March.

25/26 Speedway season kicked off at our new home track of Wanganui Oceanview Speedway last night!

We have a been lucky enough to be given the 992 of our best mate Taylor Lampps car to run this year while he builds the new one 👌🏼 After some big hours in the shed, we are pretty happy with the car and the new look 👀

We had a solid nights racing.
Race 1 - grid 3, finished first 🏁
Race 2 - grid 12, finished 3rd 🥉
Race 3 - grid 12, finished first 🏁 (new lap record also set)
Race 4 (grand slam) - grid 1, finished 2nd 🥈

Night one
8th - 1st🏁
21st - 8th
10th - 2nd

This put us top on points in our group and into the main show on Saturday night, big thanks to the lads that helped me out in the last race I won’t forget the effort 👍🏼

Night two
13th up to 2nd and blew a RR tire causing us to pull off and taking any chance of a title out of our hands.
28th - 15th
6th - 4th
Giving us 16NZ=
