Been a bit quiet on the race page lately but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy on the track! 

Fletcher Hoskins was lucky enough to be handed the keys to one of the Halcrow Race Cars saloon cars for the King of the Arena champs at Robertson Prestige International Speedway and saloon pairs at Stratford speedway. Both meetings were great experiences and it was awesome to see Fletcher getting more confident in this new class with every race, with him even managing a 🥈place in one of the heat races in Stratford! Cant thank Martin Halcrow and his crew enough for the opportunity!

Fletcher then got another call up to jump in the 211B superstock once again at Oceanview Speedway teams meeting!
Fletcher had 4 heat races and did well, finishing with 2-2-3-8. Was awesome to race the super again, especially at our home crowd. Massive thanks to Ray&Louise Beale for the opportunity!

Then it was finally time to blow the dust off the 88v stockcar for the King of the Arena stockcar champs, where we ended up rolling 1 1/2 laps into the first race which made qualifying very difficult. However Fletchers next two races were good enough to land him a repocharge spot.
Night 2
We started grid 4 on the repocharge where the top 2 went through. Fletcher was running 2nd until the last couple laps where he picked up some attention which unfortunately sent him back to 9th!

With a drama filled start to our road trip with trailers backing into cars and accommodation getting canceled .Fletcher goal was to at least make a repocharge spot!

Night one-qualifying

R1-22-15
R2-9-4
R3-9-3

Had three solid heats finishing 8th in the group good enough for a repocharge spot!

Night two -finals!

Repocharge 7-18 It soon became clear that it was going to be a tough night for Northisland cars

Tier 2 championship
Race 1- 20-5
Race 2- 8-dnf
One race final 23-🥉

We manged enough points to start from 7th in the repocharge and it was a rough race! With being held in the wall for 3 laps and .

We managed to qualify for tier 2 championship
Fletcher had a dnf in one of the heats races so we started off 23rd for the final which he managed to get into 3rd in the last corner last lap!!! The team is so wrapped with this result!

After wenesday practice we found out we had a problem so we had to drive across the country side to pick up a new bell housing at 3am this morning!!!cheers to the boys for getting it in while the driver caught some 💤💤💤.
