It was an incredible game. Drawn at half time, neither team scored in the third quarter, the the Kerikeri Diamonds found their second wind and scored four times (I think). The Paihia Ferns absolutely played their hearts out. It was a nerve wracking game.

Photos from Saturday's game (at last) the girls played their hearts out and enjoyed the game but the final score wasn't in our favour (4 -10 I think?).
It was a great to have a visit from a Mystic player though :-)

First game today and the girls were fantastic. 10 all draw against the Keri Disco Divas. Both teams played brilliantly. It was a great game.

We're baaaack! Paihia Ferns first practice today. Sam and Ronnie are both coaching. The girls were looking awesome :-)

Our girls had two games on Saturday. They won them both. BOTH. B O T H! :-) 7 - 3 v Opua. 11 - 3 v Kawakawa.

Paihia Ferns won today! Denise came to cheer the girls on. I've posted a lot of photos because there were just so many good ones and I've been bit slack lately so I hope this makes up for it :-)

Let's start with the score. 8-1 to Paihia Ferns! Awesome. It was our first proper winter game. It rained. The girls didn't care. They're fantastic :-)

The girls were all over it again today. They played hard and they're getting better all the time.

Fantastic netball tournament. What a great job Maromaku Primary does. We didn't make the finals, but we had a brilliant day. Thanks to Sam and Ngawai and our court side supporters today, see you in Kerikeri tomorrow :-)
Its a big few days coming up for the Ferns. Tomorrow our girls are playing at the Northland schools tournament at Maramaku. Saturday morning game as usual, followed by the Kerikeri tournament on Sunday. Good luck Ferns, we're supporting you all the way.
