Dedicated Kids Boxing Classes - Stop from Monday.

From Monday, 24 August 2026, we will welcome kids who genuinely want to learn to box into our 5:15pm boxing classes.

At the same time, we will stop the dedicated 4:30pm kids class.

With our coaches and athletes regularly involved in competitions, combined with varied attendance, the dedicated kids class has become difficult to run consistently.

After looking at how other boxing gyms operate, we believe kids who genuinely want to learn boxing will develop better by training alongside other boxers, rather than in an isolated kids-only class.

They will train at their own level, but as part of the wider Bunker boxing environment.

We believe this will be a positive change for our young boxers and the gym.

Marfell's Huriwaka Dean has earned selection to represent New Zealand at the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games after an outstanding performance in Thailand.
