🏌️‍♀️CONGRATULATIONS PRECIOUS! 🏌️‍♀️

On behalf of Ōpōtiki Golf Club and all our members, we would like to extend a huge congratulations to one of our very own Junior Members, Precious Hermon, on her selection into the Bay of Plenty Booth Shield Team! 👏

Precious has been a proud part of Ōpōtiki Junior Golf for the past five years. She first started playing with Matua Micky while attending Ōpōtiki Primary School as a Year 7 student, and is now a Year 11 student at Ōpōtiki College.

Precious is a fantastic example of what hard work, dedication, commitment and a love for your chosen sport can achieve. Her selection into the Bay of Plenty Booth Shield Team is a wonderful accomplishment and one that she should be incredibly proud of.

Congratulations and all the very best for the Booth Shield at Westown Golf Club in October Precious — Ōpōtiki Golf Club will be cheering you on! 🏌️‍♀️⛳️👏

🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️ Introducing the 2026 Bay of Plenty Booth Shield Team! 🏆

Congratulations to our players selected to play for Bay of Plenty at this year’s Booth Shield! ⛳️

A fantastic development opportunity, with many playing Booth Shield for the first time — gaining experience, competing as a team and learning along the way.

We can’t wait to see this group in action! 👏

Congratulations team! 💙💛

With Matariki being our last holiday, by the end of October we will have had 3 months of no public holidays!!

Well, let's give you something else to look forward to this coming Labour Weekend!!

Get the sunscreen out, brush off the cobwebs of those old clubs, or get yourself new clubs and get ready for Opotiki Golf Club's Labour Weekend Tournament, proudly sponsored by Riverlock

Yes, this is the tournament formerly known as "The Codlin Electrical Tournament."

On behalf of the Opotiki Golf Club Committee and Members, I'd like to say a huge thanks to Eric and his team at Codlin Electrical for their amazing support in sponsoring this tournament over the years.

We welcome Riverlock to supporting this event.

🏌️‍♀️ FINALISTS – PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY
Please make sure you arrive with plenty of time to get organised, warmed up and ready for your match.

❤️ KEEPING THE WHĀNAU SPIRIT ALIVE
Championship Finals Sunday is always a day when our members, friends and whānau flock to the course to support our finalists and enjoy the action.

This year, we want to keep that whānau vibe alive with a POTLUCK LUNCH! 🥗🍰🥪
All finalists are asked to please bring a plate of kai to share - it can be left up in the clubhouse on Sunday morning and it will be arranged for you to enjoy later. After each division completes their first round, players will head up to the clubhouse for a 20-minute break and potluck lunch, before returning to the course for their second and final round.

We would love to extend that invitation to all the friends, whānau and supporters who come along to cheer on our finalists. If you're joining us for the day, bring a plate of kai to share too!

Let's make the midway break a chance to come together, share some kai, have a kōrero, recharge and keep that Opotiki Golf Club whānau spirit alive before heading back out for the final round.

⛳️ Come along. Support our finalists. Bring your whānau. Bring a plate. Share some kai.

Good luck to all of our finalists🏆
