PUSH10 part 3/4 of must knows:
Each focus will have a benchmark to complete in Week 1 and again in Week 10. This provides an objective baseline at the beginning of the challenge, allowing us to accurately measure the progress made over 10 weeks.

Consistent testing conditions and an honest reflection of your current ability to ensure your results are meaningful and provide the most accurate picture of your improvement.

⚡️PROGRESS — 50%

Half of your final Push Score comes from how much you improve in your chosen focus:

Strength: Improvement in your strength tests.
Endurance: Improvement in your fitness test.
Hauora: Improvement in your Hauora Habits Assessment.

Your progress improvement is converted into a score out of 50, using the same scoring system across all three focuses to keep things fair.

Your pace, your progress, tō haerenga. It’s you vs you.

We know some of you will be wondering what happens at the end of the 10 weeks…

We wanted the way we measure PUSH10 to match what PUSH10 is actually about - progress, consistency and commitment.

INTRODUCING - THE PUSH PILLARS

Everyone can earn points across the 10 weeks and Your final Push Score is out of 100, across three pillars:

⚡️PROGRESS — 50 POINTS
Based on how much you improve from Week 1 → Week 10 in your chosen focus: Strength, Endurance or Hauora.

⚡️ATTENDANCE — 25 POINTS
Showing up matters. Scoring is capped at 5 classes per week and attendance percentage is is converted into a score out of 25.

⚡️COMMITMENT — 25 POINTS
15 points (max) for completing your weekly journal. 10 points (max) for completing the pop-up challenges throughout PUSH10.

Why these three?

Because we all start in different places.

The strongest person doesn’t automatically win.
The fittest person doesn’t automatically win.
And the person who can train the most doesn’t automatically win.

We’re rewarding how far you move forward, how consistently you show up, and how much you commit to the process.

Your starting point is yours. What you do from there is what counts.

Top points scorer from each focus group walks away with a cash prize announced soon 👀 💸

PUSH10 — YOUR WAY.

Most gym challenges start with a set of rules.

PUSH10 starts with a question:

What do you want to get better at?

For 10 weeks, you’ll choose a focus and put some real intent behind it. Not 10 weeks of restriction. Not an all-in sprint to the finish. 10 weeks of putting yourself back on the agenda.

Choose your focus:

⚡️STRENGTH
Put some real focus behind your strength, get more out of your lifts and understand what it takes to keep getting stronger - not just now, but for the long game.

⚡️ENDURANCE
Build an engine that carries over. Learn how to pace, sustain effort and develop fitness you can actually use - in the gym, at an event, or whatever you decide to chase next.

⚡️HAUORA
Take the focus beyond training. Using Te Whare Tapa Whā, look at the habits and everyday actions that support all parts of your wellbeing.

We’ll benchmark where you start, give you 10 weeks to put in the mahi, then come back and see what’s moved.

The best part? we’re filling those 10 weeks with intentional training, workshops, new experiences, learning, plenty of fun and a few surprises along the way!

You don’t need to change everything.Choose where you want to grow. Then give yourself the chance to.

PUSH10. Your focus. Your progress. Your way.

Fall off.

Feel guilty.

Start again.

All in.

Fall off.

Start again.

It gets pretty tiring.
Maybe the goal isn’t to get better at starting.

Maybe it’s to build something you don’t have to keep restarting.

Not an all-or-nothing reset.

Not another thing you start hard and forget about three weeks later.

Ten weeks isn’t forever.

But it’s long enough to build something that lasts.
Just remember, the Wahs didn’t get this far off one good game either.

Stack the weeks. Up the Wahs. 💙💚

Stay tuned ✍🏽

Big weekend incoming 😮‍💨

We’ve got Push whānau lining up on both sides of the Tasman this weekend .. some taking on the Sydney Marathon and others hitting the start line over at the Mount half mara!

For our Sydney four, it’s 42.195km alongside 40,000+ runners from 140+ countries, 313m of elevation gain and one hell of a finish at the Opera House.

Meanwhile, back on home soil, another bunch of our crew will be putting their own mahi to the test at the Mount.

We’ve loved seeing the training, the build-up and all the everyday life that’s carried on around it!
So to ALL of our Push whānau racing this weekend - go well. Run hard. Soak it up. Have a damn good time and know there’s a whole crew back here in Ngāmotu backing you.
Come home with a good story… and whatever’s left of your legs 😂

Haere kaha, team. Go get it. 🔥

Spend this Sunday morning with the lads. 8.15am

You don’t need to be fit. You don’t need to know anyone. And you definitely don’t need to have life sorted.

Train. Sweat. Share some bants. Eat some kai.

Sometimes that’s enough to reset the head and head into another week a little better than you came in.

He wāhi mō ngā tāne katoa. For our members, your mates, your brothers, your old man, all Tāne welcome.

October 5th.

If you want something different,
you probably have to do something different.

Your way.

Cole Paulin tackles HYROX in Perth❤️‍🔥

This is what all the training is for .. not just getting better at gym stuff, but giving yourself the tools to go out, sign up for something slightly unhinged and see what you can do 😂

Life’s better with a few hard things thrown in. Things that challenge you, humble you and give you something to grow from.

We’re grateful to have Cole as part of our whānau and stoked to see him having a crack! Your Push whānau are cheering you on from Ngāmotu and we can’t wait to hear all about it.

The mahi is done. Tomorrow, go empty the tank brother 🔥

Kia kaha, kia māia - karawhiua! 🖤
