A little late, but definitely worth the wait! 🇨🇳🏑

Our TRHC Women’s Team are home safe and sound after an incredible trip to China for the 2026 Asia-Oceania Rink Hockey Club Championships.

On Day 4, the girls faced the Kwinana Roller Hockey Club Scorpions (Australia), going down 3-1 in a tough semi-final.

The remaining games of the tournament were unfortunately cancelled due to a typhoon warning, meaning our girls finished the tournament 3rd equal alongside Vitoria Clube de Macau.

THIRD EQUAL AT AN INTERNATIONAL CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP. How good is that?!

We are so incredibly proud of every one of our players and everything they put into this trip, both on and off the rink. What an achievement for our club and the girls!

Day 2 wrapped up with a big win! 🏑

On Thursday, our TRHC Women's Team took on Bingo Skate Club (China) and came away with a 13-0 victory. A fantastic game from the girls and a great result to take into the next stage of the tournament.

After a rest day yesterday, it’s now semi-final day! The girls are facing the Scorpions (Australia) today in what is sure to be a tough one.

Our TRHC Women's Team got their 2026 Asia-Oceania Rink Hockey Club Championships tournament underway yesterday, taking on GF Club (Japan).

The team lost 4-3 in a close opening match but will be looking to bounce back today against Bingo Skate Club (China) at 10:30am China time (2:30pm NZT).

We're incredibly proud to have Taranaki represented on the international stage. Be sure to get behind the girls over the coming week by following their journey and sending them your support from back home! 💛🖤

Our TRHC Women's Team is making their way to Shanghai before travelling on to Lishui, China, to compete at the 2026 Asia-Oceania Rink Hockey Club Championships. We couldn't be prouder to have them representing both Taranaki and New Zealand on the international stage 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Women's Team Car Wash & BBQ fundraiser last Saturday!

We're incredibly grateful to Van Beers Motors for hosting us, McCurdys and Taranaki Tool Hire for their generous contributions, and the New Plymouth Cadets for providing plenty of muscle power throughout the day.

A special thank you also goes to our TRHC volunteers who gave up their Saturday to wash cars, cook food, and help everything run smoothly.

Every dollar raised goes towards helping our Women's Team get to the 2026 Asia-Oceania Rink Hockey Club Championships in China, and we couldn't do it without the support of our community.
