We had an awesome weekend competing at , was a fab location and set up.
As always, super impressed by such a welcoming community.
This was our team’s 4th competition and we’re super happy with results, especially given the massive field of 39 teams competing.
Our results:
Ribs 6th equal
Brisket 7th equal
Pork 18th
Chicken 29th
Overall 15th equal

Much needed Pork practice today, looks a lot better than the embarrassment handed in at Brewtown 😂

What a fun weekend competing at the Hutt Valley Hunting and Fishing BBQ comp at Brewtown. With a big part of High I Que missing ( ), just manage to hand in 4 boxes, could almost argue 3 1/2 boxes. Was super lucky to have join in helping out and keeping us to task!
Out of the 21 teams that competed, we did ok
- Chicken 9th Place
- Brisket 10th place
- Pork Ribs 11th place
- Pork…let’s not talk about that 🫠
Big big congratulations to the hubby and team for their GC win, super proud of them. Congrats also to Brendan for RGC and the amazing ladies from for 3rd place!
Thanks to Luke, Greg, Phil and Clint for their hard work to put on a great event, you can see how much goes into these events and it was awesome!
