The story behind this photoshoot is all kinds of cute 🥰. When my model approached me, she told me she wanted some cute little Instax photos to give her other half for his birthday. When we were done with the shoot we sat down and she chose 10x of her favourites, which ended up being A LOT harder than anticipated! She ended up pocketing 3x of them that she just couldn't part with, and decided to give the remainder as a gift

The best part of being a creative business owner is that you can always play around with your medium. What I absolutely love about this shoot is that no one else owns these little memories - they are one of a kind, and super hard to capture digitally in there essence.

💜 I wanted to repost this powerful story from Nikhita who graced my studio a few weeks ago. Have a read of this and narrative. What a beautiful reminder of how strong our bodies truly are.

So, I did a pole photoshoot at .
Why? Because I can. 😎

Society teaches us to beautify our bodies from a young age to fit its "standards" and feel shame if they don't meet these fickle standards.
But both pole dancing and pregnancy have reaffirmed to me that it's not about what my body looks like, it's about what it can do. It has done amazing things for me before, is doing some next-level mind-blowing magic for me right now and will continue to surprise me in the days to come, I'm sure.

What I am not sure of is when I will be able to return to pole dancing again. But these photos will serve as a reminder that more often than not, I am stronger than I think I am. 💪🏽

So pregnant or not, my friends, keep doing what you love for as long as it feels good and let your body be your guide. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
