Here we have Steph! While she hasn’t been working for Sail Nelson, she’s been making the most of ‘winter’ teaching sailing in the British Virgin Islands, running 45ft Lagoon catamarans for teens on multi-week sailing and diving trips. She’s now headed over to Canada for a few weeks before making her way back to NZ. We look forward to having you back, Steph!

While the rest of us have been making our way through winter, our instructors have been busy sailing all over the world!
Hannah left NZ by yacht and has been sailing through Tonga, Samoa, Wallis & Futuna, Fiji and Vanuatu on an expedition yacht, as well as assisting an all women voyage investigating ocean plastics. She’s now nearing the end of an incredible passage from Vanuatu, down the East Coast of Australia into Sydney.
We’re looking forward to having you back Hannah!

What’s better than seeing this beautiful blue water? Being on it!
Having the Abel Tasman as our playground makes Sail Nelson courses truly memorable.

By including theory into our courses, we give you the chance to connect it to your practical learning.
This is a great way to make sure the information sticks and allows you to see how it all works in person!
