With the increasing cost of living in today's society we are looking for accommodation sponsors to reduce the burden for volleyball families. If anybody is willing to help out please contact or pm us.

🏐 Our Volleyball team needs your support!

Term 1 is always a busy time for sport following the summer break. Our young men have settled back into the school year and are preparing to head away to their first tournament of 2026, but we’ve hit a hurdle.

With rising accommodation costs, we are looking for local support and businesses to help sponsor our upcoming away tournaments:

📍 Super 8 Invitational - Gisborne: 15–18 Feb
📍 NZSS National Championships - Palmerston North: 23–28 March

Whether it’s a corporate sponsorship or a community donation, every bit helps get our young men on the court and involved in their chosen sport.

Thank you so much already for your support and encouragement in my selection for the 2024/25 Volley ferns Squad and more recently the 2024 team to compete against Australia in our upcoming test series event next week. 🌿🇳🇿

Unfortunately Volleyball is not funded like some of our other national sports so I’m running a firewood raffle fundraiser to help support my endeavours.

$10 per ticket to win a trailer load of firewood for the 2025 winter season (to be cut up and delivered within HB over the spring/summer season) 🪵

Term 1 Volleyball
Any senior students interested in trailing for the Senior A/Super 8 Squad, trials are being held on Thursday 1st February in the big gym starting at 4:30pm - 6:30pm.

Any other senior students wanting to play VOLLEYBALL competitively or socially for the school on Tuesday nights this term please see Mr Jackson ASAP in P5 at INTERVAL tomorrow (Wednesday)

Registration is $45 per player, plus tournament fees, if selected.
