Come on the Bay! 🖤🤍 The Hawkes Bay Magpies are back at McLean Park this Saturday for their first home game of the NPC season, taking on Tasman!

This one's all about community rugby. If you're a junior player, wear your club rugby kit and you'll get FREE entry to the game. 🏉

There’s plenty happening around the park too! Get down early and check out The Court at Gate 2, opening two hours before kick-off. Grab a bite from the food trucks, check out the Magpies merchandise, enjoy live entertainment and bring the kids along for activities with Magpies players.

Another big weekend at McLean Park and what a turnout it was!

More than 12,000 fans came through the gates for the Warriors clash, with a strong mix of locals and visitors filling the stands and bringing the atmosphere. It’s always great seeing the Park buzzing like that and families out enjoying a major event together.

Events of this scale play a big role for both the Park and the wider city. They showcase what the venue can host, support local suppliers and businesses, and keep Napier firmly on the map as a go to destination for major sport.

Thanks to everyone who helped make the day a success, from crews on the ground through to the fans in the stands 🙌

Food vendors will be located behind the Harris Stand, and behind both ends of the Graeme Lowe Stand.

ℹ You’re welcome to bring sealed, unopened plastic bottles (up to 1.5 litres) of non-alcoholic drinks, small amounts of homemade food for personal use, and thermos flasks with hot beverages.
👉 Empty water bottles are also allowed, and there are free water stations inside the venue so you can refill and stay refreshed throughout the day.

We’re proud to be hosting the One NZ Warriors and the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles today, with footy fans rolling into Hawke’s Bay for a big afternoon of footy at McLean Park.

Gates open from 1.45pm, giving you plenty of time to get in, find your seat, grab some kai and get settled before the 3.40pm kick off.
