The race for the 𝗛𝗚𝗖 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟭𝟬 is heating up!

The course is 𝗧𝗕𝗖, but at this stage we’re projecting 𝗡𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 to host the Shootout. We 𝗺𝗮𝘆 look at other course options before locking it in.

The wind was absolutely 𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, making for some tough conditions and some low Stableford scores! No one played to their handicap in these conditions! A few light showers came through, but thankfully the wind kept the worst of the rain away. 🌧️💨

A massive 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 to the team at Puketitiri for putting on an awesome day, with the course in great condition and the hospitality absolutely spot on! 👏

A huge 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 to the team at 𝗪𝗮𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗸𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘂 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯. You never miss a beat! From the early morning start with the roller through to the food and drinks after the round, everything was first class. It’s a very well-run club, and we really appreciate all the effort that goes into hosting us.

The course had received a huge amount of rain over the past few days and was right on the edge of having to close. A massive credit goes to the greens staff, who worked incredibly hard to get the course into a playable condition. The soft ground certainly made it a challenge, but the players of the 𝗛𝗚𝗖 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥 didn’t let that slow them down!

With a crisp 𝟭𝟰°𝗖 winter’s day, plenty of sunshine, and some outstanding golf on display, the scoring proved the conditions were no match for the field.
