The boots can be cleaned, the mouthguards can disappear into the bottom of the sports bag and the Saturday morning alarms can finally be switched off… the 2026 rugby season is officially over!

A massive thank you to all our players, coaches, managers, refs, volunteers and whānau for another awesome season of junior rugby. 💚

What a season from this awesome bunch. They’ve worked hard, backed each other, played some brilliant rugby and finished it off in the best possible way!

We are incredibly proud of the players, coaches, managers and all the whānau who have supported them from the sideline throughout the season.

Very generously donated by Israel Dagg and the Dagg family, this jersey was taken along to a reunion of the 2011 and 2015 Rugby World Cup-winning squads earlier this year.

It features signatures from some absolute legends, including Dan Carter, Aaron Smith, Ben Smith, Julian Savea, Dane Coles, Piri Weepu, Joe Moody, Colin Slade, Aaron Cruden, Ali Williams, Andy Ellis and Wyatt Crockett… plus a couple we’re still trying to decipher! 😅

Our Year 3, 4 and 5 teams wrap up their season with their tournament this weekend. A brilliant way to finish off another season of rugby, friendships and plenty of muddy Saturday mornings!
