The Mount Pickleball Club

Every year, The Mount Pickleball Club organises the very successful Mount Classic, held at Mercury Baypark; it is now one of the largest pickleball tournament in New Zealand with over 320 participants from all around the country.

Senior B men’s and women’s doubles will be on Friday the 18th, with Open and other senior games on Saturday the 19th, followed by all the mixed games on Sunday the 20th.

The Red Fun Tournament (king of the court format) was a great success with 32 participants who played 8 rounds.
Henk and Bridget finished first, Oliver and partner got the second place; they all won a delicious box of chocolate.

Red players have the option to join the fun red tournament (and win prizes) or to play at the normal club session with yellow and blue players.

Congratulations to the newly graded players:

Murray Poole and Andy Winslow have gone up from red to orange after being assessed by Donna and Bob last Friday.

They also upgraded Sue Haden from blue to red.

Donna upgraded the following players to blue:

Penny Blumer , Johnny Viljeon , Reno Viljeon , Michael John , Jenna stringer

Richard started playing Pickleball last year and joined the Mount Pickleball Club.
He is now an orange player.
