Methven Community Pool is a non profit organisation run by a committee of volunteers. Key holders can swim 5am to 9pm every day with the following exception.
During school term the pool is closed to the public 9am-3pm as this is when our 3 local schools use the pool. Keys must be used by keyholding family members only and are not transferable or to be given to non members for use. Keyholders may bring guests for a $2 payment per guest in the honesty box. Any guests taken to the pool are the keyholders responsibility. Keyholders conditions are listed in

What a great surprise. Thanks to Ballance Self Serve and Give Back Scheme we received a donation for $1000 and a morning tea shout.
For every 1000 tonnes used at Ballance's self serve silos a $1000 is donated to a local charity. The Methven Self Serve Silo recently rolled over 1000 tonnes and our local farmers voted for Methven Community Pool to be the recipient.

Great turn out for the Swim Squad prizegiving tonight. Over the course of season this awesome group of swimmers have been swimming up to 70 lengths each session. Thanks to R and R Precision Spreading for the bucket hats, Methven Motors for the drink bottles and Pure Sports Nutrition for the gels.
Huge thank you to Cheryl Isherwood for volunteering to run squad - we know this is a huge time commitment and we really appreciate it.
Special mention to Irene Duff for coming down to present the Duff Family trophy.
