IT'S FINALS NIGHT, we have made it! Big thank you to all the teams and Umpires for the season.
Draws for Finals and Keely Cup have been emailed to Team Laiaisons/Clubs/Schools. Draws are also available on the MNC website.
Duties:
MNC: All Committee on duty
Set Up MIS Chargers
Pack Up Duty: MC Harrys Team
Inside Pavilion: UMS GCMF Wahine
FINALS IMPORTANT INFORMATION
ALL Finals scheduled on the draw are important and as such MNC expect teams to give them the respect they deserve and play these as normal. The finals are not to be used as an opportunity to have fun and play players out of their normal position, or not take it seriously etc.
- Final games cannot end in a draw. If it is a draw at the end of the 4th quarter the game will continue until one team has a 2 goal lead. Teams will need to take direction from the umpires and/or MNC Committee members.
- Tactical changes will not be permitted in the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter
- EACH Team is to provide a scorer. Scorers are to remain mid-court on the sideline.
- Borrowed and Casual Player Rules apply to Semi- Finals and Finals
KEELY CUP TEAMS:
Please read the Rules of FastFive Netball, if unsure please chat to a MNC Committee member.
Each team has two games, and two Umpire duties. Due to some teams struggling to find umpires and others not turning up to umpire last week, I decided that this week teams will umpire their own games. This will prevent any no-show umpires and take the pressure off teams to provide more than two umpires. :-)
If you need any clarification around the scoring please come and chat to an MNC Committee member.
Scoring handsignals: 1 point goal one arm straight up / 3 point goal 2 arms straight up.
REMINDERS TO TEAMS:
- Final Teams must complete the team sheets on the MyNetball Manager App
- Keely Cup Teams only have to fill in their team sheet for their first game only.
- Flags (pink/orange): these are there to be raised if an Umpire or team/spectator have an issue they want some support with. Please use these to get an official courtside.
- The main pavilion will continue to be locked. Access to the toilets will still be available via the door under the stairs. Please note, access past the toilets is strictly only for MNC personnel.

Hey Netballers, school holidays are here (1 day to go), and that means we will be taking a 2 week break from netball. See you on the 21st and 22nd July
30/06/2026
Tonight a young lad, Quaide Balsom, misplaced his iphone 11 during the 8pm round. He was sitting on the benches by ct4 and so hoping that it may have fell into a team/player gear bag or accidently swooped up with clothing. If you were watching the game on court 4 at 8pm, Wade would appreciate it if you can have a look to see if it may have hitchhiked home with you.
If you do find it can you please message the netball centre so we can reunite them. π
