Volunteered run social athletic club We are a volunteered run social club, operating from the Matamata Domain during athletic season.
We cater for children 2 to 14 years, offering fun based skills through track & field events. We run alternative fun nights, with the opportunity for parents, caregivers, whānau members to join in & have fun
Terms & Conditions:
As parents, caregivers, whānau & athletes of the Matamata Athletic Club, you accept & agree to the following & agree & will adhere to the Matamata Athletic Club 'Code of C
onduct':
- Co-operate & listen to those running Club Nights.
- At Club Nights, you may be required to help out in some form e.g retrieve equipment, assisting with lining athletes up ready for their event. Assist & help where & when required. If an Age Group does not have the required help needed on Club Nights, that Age Group may not be able to participate on the night.
- No Drop Offs! As per our Health & Safety Plan, the Club does not allow drop offs. Parents, caregivers, whānau, must actively supervise their child/children on Club Nights.
- The Club follows the Club's Health & Safety Plan & therefore accepts no responsibility for any injury suffered while taking part in any club activity on premises controlled by the Club.
- Matamata Athletic Club is run by volunteers. Please treat those running the Club with respect. Without them, there would be no club.
- Any bad, offensive language or behaviour toward volunteers, athletes, spectators, will NOT be tolerated & if necessary, dealt with appropriately by the Committee.
- NO refunds. Only under certain circumstances & at the discretion of the Committee will refunds be given.
- Those running Club Nights reserve the right to exclude athletes, parents, caregiver, whānau who do not comply with the above. Issues, concerns, can be emailed to [email protected] - if required, these will be discussed & dealt with by the Committee.
