🌊 Final Reminder – Under the Sea ARGOS Recreational Competition 🐠

This is your final reminder for the Under the Sea ARGOS Recreational Competition, hosted by ARGOS Tauranga on Sunday 30 August.

We already have a fantastic group of Matamata Gymnastics Club gymnasts entered, and we’d love to see even more of our members join us for this fun, friendly event!

The competition offers:

🤸 Trampoline

This is a great opportunity for gymnasts to build confidence, gain competition experience, and have fun in a supportive environment.

⏰ Entries must be submitted this weekend, so if your gymnast would like to take part and you haven’t let us know yet, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

Welcome back to Term 3! 🤸💙

This term is especially exciting as we’ve expanded our Assistant Coach team! Joining Charlotte, Ana and Charlie (who was absent from this photo), we’d like to give a big welcome to Cora, Roisin and Olivia as they begin their journey through our internal training and mentoring.

One of the things we’re most proud of as a volunteer-run club is developing coaches from within. Our senior gymnasts already know our club, our values and our younger members, making them wonderful role models. Through mentoring and hands-on experience, they build confidence, leadership and coaching skills while helping inspire the next generation of gymnasts.

We’re excited to watch all six of our Assistant Coaches continue to grow this term. Please give them a wave and say hello when you see them around the gym – they’re doing an amazing job! 💙

We’re excited to have been invited to two more friendly competitions this term! These events are a fantastic opportunity for gymnasts to build confidence, try new skills in a supportive environment, meet athletes from other clubs, and most importantly, have fun!

These competitions are open to gymnasts of all experience levels, and participation is completely optional. They’re a wonderful way to gain confidence, celebrate progress, and represent Matamata Gymnastics Club in a fun and encouraging environment.

If your gymnast is keen to join either event, please get in touch—we’d love to see lots of our gymnasts involved! 💙💛

Today’s the day! If your gymnast would like to compete at the GFA Winter Festival on 8–9 August, please let us know ASAP.

We need to submit all entries tonight, so this is your last opportunity to join the Matamata Gymnastics Club team.

There’s still time to register for Term 3 at Matamata Gymnastics Club!

Whether your child is trying gymnastics for the first time or returning for another fun-filled term, we’d love to have them join us. Our recreational classes focus on building confidence, strength, coordination and, most importantly, having fun!

📅 Term 3 begins Wednesday 22 July.

As a volunteer-run club, we really appreciate registrations before the term begins. Early registrations help us organise coaches, class numbers and equipment so we’re ready to give everyone the best possible experience.
