The Battle of the Bombays Year 1 - 5 Men and Ladies was played on Saturday July 4 at Tui Park BC.
Daniel and CJ were representing Waikato men playing against Auckland, Counties-Manukau and Thames Valley.
A great effort by the Waikato men and women to finish 2nd with 27 rinks narrowly behind Auckland with 28 rinks.

The Waikato Centre Champ of Champions Men's and Ladies Pairs are being played this weekend in Cambridge.
Rewa Bowling Club Matamata represented by:
Jeremy Kidd/Jimmy Neal.
Jocelyn Hart/Margaret McMillan.
Unfortunately men lost in first round albeit to Alan and Paul Sutton of Putaruru who are contesting the final tomorrow.
The ladies had a good first up win over Ngaruawhia however were bested in the Quarter-final by Tokoroa who have also made it to the final.

Jillz Stewart - proud mother - has advised that her son Jack has been selected to represent Bay of Plenty in the National Under 26 5 - aside event in Wellington 22/23 August.

The Auckland Bowling Club Champion of Champions Junior Singles Champs was played over the weekend. There were 68 entries in this national event.
Our own Jack Stewart played day one at Bridgepark Bowling Club, Mangere winning all 3 games putting him in the top 16 for day 2.
He won his first game 21-19 but narrowly lost his next game 19-21.
A great effort by Jack to finish 4th equal in this national event.
